EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a trauma-informed somatic treatment modality that is evidence-based and designed to assist the brain to resume its natural healing process and effectively remove the emotional, physical, or psychological distress caused by trauma. EMDR is extensively researched and proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and attachment wounds, while requiring minimal talking.

The truth is that we all need a safe space where we can freely process things without worrying about saying the “wrong thing”, being a burden on others, hurting someone’s feelings, or being judged for how you feel. Life can be hard. Trying to navigate challenging situations or feelings on your own can be overwhelming. The safety of therapy can act as a sounding board to you.
